Everyone always talks about how they "Can't wait for summer" because they are dreaming about all of the fun, adventurous activities they're going to do. While they're sulking in their room all winter, dreaming about warm bathing suit weather, they can't help but have a fear that summer won't be all that it's cracked up to be. Unfortunately, some people might feel like they're wasting their summers because, as each day passes, they're stuck in the same routine. Here's the ultimate summer bucket list that'll keep you busy for weeks.

1. Go hiking.

2. Take pictures of everything you do.

3. Create a blog.

4. Go horseback riding.

5. Take road trips to visit friends.

6. Weekly trips to the beach.

7. Go to the zoo.

8. Plan weekend trips (Hamptons, the Shore, NYC, out west, etc.).

9. Take a yoga class and test those flexibility skills.

10. Take a summer class.

11. Take more pictures.

12. Craft so you'll have the best looking dorm next year.

13. Become a master chef.

14. Go bungee jumping.

15. Go to a painting and wine night to have the best of both worlds.

16. Binge-watch a movie series.

17. Get a tattoo.

18. Binge watch a TV series.

19. Go to a concert.

20. Redecorate your room in a day.

21. Create a journal.

22. Become a master baker.

23. Go to a horserace and wear a funny hat.

24. Take up a new sport, then impress everyone with your skills in September.

25. Buy a coloring book to get out your aggression.

26. Create a summer playlist and play it on repeat until you're sick of it.

27. Start an internship.

28. Babysit (for kids that are tolerable and likable).

29. Save some money so you don't go broke in December.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
