If you're the designated driver for road trips all the time, you can relate when I say that drivers OWN that aux cord. That being said, it is our job as the aux holder to play the best hits. Who wants to get hype for an adventure with boring music? I sure do not.

So, I decided to put together a playlist. The songs range from country to rap to boy-band throwbacks. Feel free to take whichever ones make you feel groovy!

Here is the perfect road trip playlist:

1. "Slow Hands" - Niall Horan

Who knew that the split of 1D would lead to the making of such an awesome song? This is one of those beats that you find yourself grooving with before you even know it.

2. "Beautiful Soul" - Jesse McCartney

I remember being a little girl and belting this song in my room, surrounded by Jesse McCartney posters. Now, I belt this song in the car with help from my friends.

3. "Slide" - Calvin Harris

The best part of this song is definitely the small voice in the background that yells, "I might!" My friends and I find ourselves dancing to this song without even knowing.

4. "DNA" - Kendrick Lamar

Okay, try and tell me that just the first ten seconds of that song didn't cause you to turn up the volume. I bet you can't.

5. "Party In The U.S.A" - Miley Cyrus

Yes, this song will remind you of middle school dances. However, instead of being surrounded by a circle of friends trying to fist bump like they're on the Jersey Shore, you'll be riding with the windows down shouting the lyrics.

6. "Young, Dumb & Broke" - Khalid

Imagine, you're driving down a scenic suburban road. The windows are down, the sunroof is open, and you're vibing to the music. What better song fits beside this classic by Khalid?

7. "One, Two Step" - Ciara

If you're like me, this was your main jam back in the day at some point. If you're like me again, you also have the car completely rocking when this song comes on. Just make sure at least one hand stays on the wheel, and one foot on the pedals.

8. "Attention" - Charlie Puth

Belt it out to all the exes you need out of your face! This song is perfect to scream out while on the way to your destination.

9. "Kiss Me Thru The Phone" - Soulja Boy

Six, seven, eight, triple nine, eight, two one two.

10. "Location" - Khalid

Another great one from an awesome artist. Bonus points if you and your friends harmonize.

11. "Shut Up And Drive" - Rihanna

This song makes you want to do anything BUT shut up. Sing it, loud and proud!

12. "Mi Gente" - J Balvin

I don't know if anyone has really heard of this song. It hasn't had a big break on popular radio stations that I know of, but don't let that fool you. This song is amazing. It's a necessity on any road trip playlist, this beat will have you moving!

13. "Thnks Fr Th Mmrs" - Fall Out Boy

If you're as big of a fan of Fall Out Boy as I am, this song never left the road trip playlist. This song made it to the playlist before your license was even acquired. How can you not scream out the lyrics to this one?

14. "I'm The One" - DJ Khaled

Do I even need to explain this one?

15. "Fergalicious" - Fergie

You and your friends will look D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S singing this with the windows down. (Side note: Don't act like you didn't sing that part in your head.)

16. "HUMBLE" - Kendrick Lamar

You'll do anything but 'sit down' to this song.

17. "Low" - Flo Rida

I don't know where to begin with this song. All I will say is that if this song sparked at least one memory for you, it needs to be on the road trip playlist.

18. "Despacito" - Luis Fonsi

I didn't include Justin Bieber's name because that is up to you. I know people that bump to either, and people that hate the newer remix. Whatever makes you groove!

19. "Vacation" - Thomas Rhett

Ahh, finally some country. For all my beer drinkin', bass fishin' country lovers out there, some of these will be for you. I know I can switch from genre to genre, but country will always have the biggest place in my heart. This song just simply makes you want to dance.

20. "Wild Thoughts" - DJ Khaled

I don't know if you can take.... having this song on your road trip playlist. It's a tune you can both sing and dance to.

21. "Settle Down" - The 1975

I'm sorry, I couldn't hear you over the sound of my brain screaming "Matt Healy is a God." Aside form that factor, I know a lot of people can jam out to this song!

22. "Apparently" - J.Cole

Just the beginning piano keys are enough to get my head nodding to the song. Along with that, the lyrics are meaningful!

23. "It'z Just What We Do" - Florida Georgia Line

I love FGL songs for a playlist because they're all equally awesome. They're modern country, so sometimes they even rap in their songs. Each one makes you dance differently.

24. "Shining" - DJ Khaled

DJ Khaled comes out with the best bangers, and they all fit on this list. This song is underrated, and not too many people know about it. However, it's awesome! Jay-Z AND Beyoncé in one track like the old days? Yes, please!

25. "Hypnotize" - The Notorious B.I.G

If you don't have this on your road trip playlist, you're doing something wrong. This song is a classic and words can't describe how groovy it is.

26. "You Look Good" - Lady Antebellum

Yes, I do hit my wheel to every beat of this song, judge me. Every time it comes on the playlist, I quietly say, "Yesss" to myself. Another awesome one!

27. "That's What I Like" - Bruno Mars

You either love this song or hate this song. I put it on here just because I know my friends and I can still jam out despite it being overplayed, so there's hope for all of you as well.

28. "Bad Girls" - M.I.A

'Live fast, die young' should never be anyone's motto. However, when it's harmlessly jamming out to a song with those lyrics, it's okay. Sorry boys, this one is for the ladies. Release your inner bad girl and dance to this song!

29. "Paper Planes" - M.I.A

Another one by her. This song is a throwback as well! Bonus, while you're busy jamming out, your friends will have fun recreating the sound effects.

30. "Kick The Dust Up" - Luke Bryan

Breaking news: Hot country man knows how to produce a great song worthy of blasting out your windows.

31. "Passionfruit" - Drake

This island beat makes the perfect jam for long car rides. (Bonus points if you really ARE traveling to an island/beach!) There is no official video for this song, so enjoy an awesome cover of it!

32. "Love On Top" - Beyonce

My favorite part about this one is seeing who can scream the highest notes the best.

33. "Play It Again" - Luke Bryan

A classic country hit. Great for belting along to!

34. "The Way I Are" - Timbaland

Don't get me wrong here, this song is not only a road trip song. I dance to this song in the shower if it comes on. Trust me, this throwback deserves a spot on your road trip playlist.

35. "Run The World" - Beyonce

Shout it out, yell it to people walking down the street. Who runs the world? GIRLS! Go ladies!

36. "Home Alone Tonight" - Luke Bryan

This song is really good to try and sing with someone else too. It will leave you wondering why you haven't started a band yet!

37. "Lotta That" - G-Eazy

Let's get one thing straight... Young Gerald is HOT. As a bonus, he is a great rapper. All of his songs are easily bumped and this one great.

38. "Backseat Freestyle" - Kendrick Lamar

Who knew Kendrick created Godly beats? You'll find yourself at least tapping your foot to this song, for sure.

39. "Burnin' Up" - Jonas Brothers

DON'T COME FOR ME. I still love Nick Jonas, alright? I know that 90 percent of you ladies out there will be able to sing at least a few lines from this song. No, it's not too old. Get it on that playlist, ASAP!

40. "Crushin' It" - Brad Paisley

With a pure country beat, this song is one of my favorites.

41. "Before He Cheats" - Carrie Underwood

Yes, I am happily in a secure relationship. Yes, I will still belt out the lyrics as if I were in the situation myself. How do you not?

42. "Suga Suga" - Baby Bash

Oo-wee, this song gives me the ultimate feeling. See what I did there?

43. "Feels" - Calvin Harris

Similar to Passionfruit, there is a sort of island beat to this one too. By the way, does anyone else constantly have Katy Perry's part stuck in their head?

44. "Buy U A Drank" - T-Pain

Yes, this is one of the best throwbacks. Don't forget to snap along to the beat!

45. "Shape Of You" - Ed Sheeran

Obviously, you need some Ed Sheeran to accompany your road trip. What better song but the one with a cool beat?

46. "Redbone" - Childish Gambino

Stay woke, people.

47. "No Scrubs" - TLC

Did you really think I would have a road trip playlist compilation and NOT put this song on here? I don't even have to explain this one.

48. "iSpy" - Kyle

I spy with my little eye... A bomb-a** playlist.

49. "Cruise" - Florida Georgia Line

Duh, this one makes perfect sense!

50. "Ignition (Remix)" - R. Kelly

I had to end on a perfect song. Who doesn't love this one?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

181671

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
