Family time is great and rewarding, but we can all agree that after a while, we all need a minute to ourselves to unwind. Nothing's better than a little "me time" and these are the perfect ways to reset after some time with the family:
1. A Nice Long Bath.
There’s nothing like having a (locked) door between yourself and your family. Put on some mood music, lights your candles, drop in a bath bomb, and let your day melt away.
2. Workout.
Mad? Stressed? Annoyed? Hit the treadmill and grab a barbell. Let your stress go while the endorphins come rollin’ in.
3. Walk your dog.
Again, exercise is always a good idea! Besides, you can always benefit from some quality time with a pupper.
4. Head to the beach.
Who’s ever stressed at the beach? Take a friend or go alone to soak up the sun or lazy-float in the inner tube. Let your mind go with every motion of the ocean.
5. Movie night with the girls.
There’s nothing like a girl’s night! You could go out on the town, but why miss the opportunity to cuddle up with your best girl friends with popcorn, good gossip, and chocolate (obviously)!
