The Fall is a beautiful time of the year. The leaves are falling, and the weather is getting colder. The months past and October's infamous holiday rolls around. Halloween is loved many. Children and adults pick out their costumes and trick-or-treat or attend parties. Haunted houses are open and the fairs roll around. Halloween is about the thrills and chills. Everyone loves a good scare. So how do you get ready for Halloween? Here's 5 way to get in the Halloween Mood.

1. Decorations

Decorations are one of the best ways to get into the Halloween Mood. There's nothing like having your house decorated from the outside to the inside to get ready. You could simply start by having a few skeletons hanging around or even some fake spider webs. Don't forget some awesome Halloween music to play in the background to welcome your guests. You forget to decorate the outside of the house too. All those kids who will come to get candy will love to see the house with most decorations. The scarier the merrier. So go out to Hobby Lobby, get some materials, and transfom that house!

2. Costumes

You can not forget a costume. This is essential to Halloween. There are so many stores that have costumes, and there are even guides on how to make your own costumes. This is the one night where you can be whoever and whatever your crazy imagination thinks up. Live it out and live it up and don't forget to be creative.

3.CANDY!

Who doesn't love candy. Halloween is about candy. This is the one time of the year where you can eat tons and tons of candy with shame. Every child will be right behind you. So yes go to Walmart and go down that candy isle and grab every bag your heart desires.

4. Scares

Halloween is full of scares. This is the one time of the year where your TV will be filled with horror movie commercials and every YouTube video will have a scary commercial. If your up for scares and your brave enough watch till your heart is content. You can't forget classics like the Scary Movies or Halloween Town. If your really seeking an adrenaline pumping moment visit a haunted house or trail. Good luck with that, I will not be with you.

5.Pumpkins

Oh pumpkins. Pumpkins are one of the main symbols of Halloween. So get the whole gang along and go get some pumpkins. No matter the size decorate one. Get the paint out and go crazy. Why not even carve it? You never know how creative and messy things will get till you carve a pumpkin. So go out there and embrace that Halloween spirit and don't forget to take plenty of pictures of the final project.

When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating.
