Each year, most of us adopt the same New Year's Resolution: eat better, lose weight, be nicer, get better grades, etc. Some of us stick with those resolutions, but some of us need new ideas for a fresh start in the new year. Below are 5 unconventional ideas for a New Year's Resolution.
1. Try to break a world record.
World record for eating the most tacos?
2. Go on a road trip every month.
Get some friends to tag along, too.
3. Learn to write with your non-dominant hand.
This could come in handy. Haha, get it. Handy.
4. Have a random conversation with a stranger at least once a week.
This could lead to some interesting friendships.
5. Memorize as many digits of pi as possible.

While these resolutions may not prove very useful, they are definitely different than your standard "I'm going to lose weight this year" resolution. If none of these sound interesting, just think of something weird and decide to make it your New Year's Resolution!
