With spring semester quickly approaching, I am starting to feel bittersweet. Yes, do not get me wrong, I am so beyond excited for the semester to begin, but I am also very distraught that this will be my last semester ever of undergraduate classes. Senior year is the time that you truly will get out what you put in. That includes everything from academically to your social life. You need to take it all in because you know that next year you will be searching for your full-time job or a graduate program...talk about scary. Here are some tips to take in when prepping for your last semester as an undergrad.... ever!!

1. Go Out As Much As You Can. Yes, we all have those nights where we want to stay in and just watch Netflix, but take every opportunity this semester to go out and enjoy the time with your friends and meet people. Go to that party, even when you aren't necessarily in the mood. This is the last time you will have to do crazy adventures and not be judged for it.

2. Keep Up with Your Academics. Definitely go out and have fun. You deserve it after the four years of hard work that you put in. But, do not slack on your last semester of college because more than likely it is your most important semester academically. Just keep your priorities in line.

3.Take as Many Pictures as You Can. You might hate it in the moment, but these will be funny and special to look back on in the future. You will get to remember "that night" or "that event" just from taking those pictures and remembering the memory you made the last few weeks of college.

4. Do Not Be Scared of the Future. It is okay to not have everything all figured out to a T like, where you want to go and do next year. It is okay to take a year off or hop right into a job, but either way things take time. So be patient and realize that it can take a couple failures before you hit success. You just need to have some faith in yourself. Everything always works out.

5. Get Pumped. This is it. You made it through four hard and strenuous years of studying in the library, writing all of those papers, and taking all of those difficult exams. It is a huge accomplishment to come this far, so be proud of yourself. It took a lot of hard work and dedication for you to get to this exact moment.

So, cherish every moment and do not be scared to be yourself. Take all the risks that life has to offer this semester and moving forward. I'm thankful every day for the people that have walked into my life at West Chester. I probably wouldn't be where I am today without them.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
