As March and April roll around, so do the much anticipated college decision letters. You will be accepted. You will be waitlisted. You WILL be denied. It happens to everyone. No matter what that letter, email, or application portal status says, you WILL end up at the university right for you. It will hurt to be denied or waitlisted. You put so much effort into an application and wait so long before hearing back, so it's okay to be upset.
Whether it's a decision from your top school or the safety school you KNEW you were going to get into, it's okay to be upset. Here are 5 things to do when you get that less than appealing decisions letter:
1. Cry
2. Ice cream. LOTS of ice cream.
3. Unfollow their Instagram account
4. Delete all memories affiliated with that school
5. Laugh
If they don't want you, you don't want them. Trust me.
