1. Pick love over fear.
Everyone has fears. It is what you do with those fears that matters. Negative thoughts are very human. Instead of trying to run away from your fears and hide. Learn to acknowledge your fears. Then eventually you can learn to face them and get over them. Love your fears. Fears are opportunities to learn more about yourself and your future.
2. Mind over matter.
Your thoughts in your mind matter more than anything else. Listening to your feelings will create new perspectives and mindsets. Trust your mind enough to know that all of your feelings should be taken seriously. Feel them and learn to understand why you feel them.
3. Acceptance over resistance.
You have two options when it comes to challenges you face. Get angry and resist or you can accept. Next time you find yourself in a situation where you become so angry it’s unbearable, take a breath and ask yourself, what can I learn from this? How can I become better?
4. Challenges over problems.
Perspective is very important to maintain a happy life. Happy people see problems as challenges. Labeling it as a challenge creates a competitive mindset that is unhelpful. Instead of dreading challenges be grateful for their presence because they will help you grow to become a better person.
5. Positivity over negativity.
In every circumstance in your life, it is always better for not only you but everyone around you if you’re positive. Positivity is a choice. There are definitely temptations in life when it becomes easy to output negativity. But what is the point? What are you really getting out of being negative?
