4 Things Men Do That Piss Us Off

Guys are alluring creatures. They are attractive, sweet, thoughtful and caring in ways that make us fall incredibly hard. It’s incredibly easy for us to fall in love with men, but they drive us crazy. Sometimes men aren’t always willing to give us things in return but they manage to do things that we absolutely hate and can’t even understand. Men and women are completely different but there are certain things that make us girls extremely mad; mad enough to run away and never come back.

1. Not responding to texts

Why bother to even start a conversation with me if it hurts you to move your fingers and respond? If you don’t have time to talk, simply don’t bother trying to talk to me. This is one of the biggest games you boys play and us women take this very seriously.

We may overthink, but we have to protect ourselves. Your “What’s up?" text that takes you three hours to reply raises red flags and flashing lights. It’s an a**hole move, so have a little respect and be mindful because we also deserve a text back.

    2. Assuming we want a relationship

This is my absolute favorite. Guys assume that because we want sex, we'll wind up wanting something more committed than a casual hook-up. In their world, it's one hundred percent okay to have sex with several women without worrying about commitment. But when the roles reverse, men become extremely uneasy.

They're sometimes thrown off by our independence and they'll bring up dramatic issues for no legitimate reason. Women aren't as vulnerable as men once thought. We can be as free and strong as we want.

    3. Avoiding fancy restaurants

Yes, we love cozy nights watching Netflix, ordering take out, stuffing our faces with junk food and cuddling. But that doesn't mean it's our ideal date night scenario. We want you to take us out and treat us to something nice.

I'm not talking about going to a five star Michelin dinner, but at least a restaurant that serves actual food with a chef in the back creating an amazing meal. You can bet that buying us food and new shoes will win our hearts.

    4. Getting mad when we have our periods

Well, excuse me sir, but if you don't like it we can gladly swap genetics. It's not our fault that we deal with this monthly curse. I'm ever so curious to see how men would feel if they were bleeding for five days while fighting horrible cramps and the overwhelming food cravings. It's obvious that men solely care about themselves and their sexual needs, but trust me this doesn't just affect you. It also affects us, women, who also want to have sex.

We women may be emotional, but we're rational and we put up with your sh*t a million times. There are times we just can't handle it. But never underestimate the power of a sassy, fierce and strong woman.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
