5 Things Only A Bama Srat Girl Could Be Excited For This Year

Honestly, I'm looking forward to the new school year. As I finish unpacking to begin my sophomore year at the Capstone, here are some things I'm excited for/about.

1. Being "Extra" for Work Week

It's so much fun to be over the top with fun dress up themes. I mean, just think about all the photo opportunities!

2. Recruitment

We've been preparing all summer for the new girls to come and now it's finally time. PC '16 won't be the babies anymore! Yes, door songs are actually real, and no, they are not scary. Okay I lied. The very first time I saw one I was terrified, but now I think they're fun!

3. Classes Starting

Maybe I'm just a huge nerd. I'm excited for classes to start because I'll finally get to use the pens I got specifically for planning out my classes. Also, I'm having a semester mostly dedicated towards classes for my major #productive.

4. Getting A Little

I'm so excited and so ready to add a new baby to the family. I hope you still love us, for better or for worse because we've been through it all together.

5. Football Season


Football season will forever have my heart. It's the best season. I can't wait to be in Atlanta in just 4 weeks to cheer on the boys in Crimson.

Honestly, a new school year brings all kinds of new adventures and I'm so excited for this year and the experiences I will get to have.

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.
