With this being finals week, I am already looking ahead to my month-long Christmas break. While I don't have too many concrete plans, I do know how I want to spend my time off of school. There isn't much to do in my hometown, but I know exactly how to make my break enjoyable both there and here around Indianapolis. Here is what I'll be doing over the next month.
1. Work

I might have a month off of school, but I still have to work during that time. I'm getting two weeks of the month off to spend at home with my family, but the other two will be spent right back here in Indianapolis.2. Dog sitting

While I'm in Indy, I'll be staying at a friend's apartment and taking care of her dogs for her. She's letting me stay with her for free and I get to hang out with two cute little dogs, so I think it's a win-win situation.3. Seeing friends from home

This is honestly one of the things that I'm most looking forward to. Some of my friends from high school live far enough away during the school year that we're only able to get together on school breaks, so I really love to see them when I can.4. Sleeping

I'm always exhausted during the school year, but the end of the semester wears me out more than anything else. I only took six classes this semester, but I somehow ended up with five final papers and four final exams within the last two weeks, so I am definitely looking forward to sleeping as much as possible.5. Spending time with family

I haven't gotten to spend too much quality time with my family this semester, as Thanksgiving break was spent in the ICU waiting room after my brother's car accident. I'm definitely looking forward to a drama-free, relaxing holiday season with my family.
