I am an introvert and so are you. Nice to never meet you personally.

An introvert, as you may already know, is someone who meets the criteria of a home-bound, socially insecure, and totally nice person. I am one of those people who gets panic attacks just thinking about hanging out with my friends. And those are people that I LIKE. Can you imagine the fear that strikes when you have to present something in class? Here are some signs of a true introverted person.

1. Home away from home is a lie

Home is wherever we can curl in our blanket, zone out to Netflix, and avoid all social interactions that don't happen on the internet.

2. Presenting is a nightmare.

For me, this is the least pressing matter because i want to teach in my career, so I have to suck it up for the dream job. But for some other introverts, standing in front of a classroom of potential judge's can make it seems daunting.

3. Parties, forget about it.

Whether you are in college or high school, you will eventually find yourself at some kind of party. Somehow you found yourself in a crowded room with a bunch of strangers trying to make conversation, aka, hell.

4. Making conversations is hard

It is sometimes the hardest thing to randomly talk to someone, even if you have known them for years. It is like the world is pressing down on you to come up with some insane answer that will win a person over, when really they just want to see how you are doing.

5. You need to recharge the social battery after awhile.

I know my friend and I, who are both introverts, always joke that after spending time together or with family, we need a day or two to "re-charge" the batteries.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
