America's favorite fear-inducing show is back and in full swing. The newest season of American Horror Story, Cult, is in week four, and we, as fans, already can't get enough. This is season 7 of the show, so it isn't our first go-around with the thrills, murder, gore, sex, and fear.
From Murder House to Roanoke, American Horror Story has created a dominating fan base. As a result, there are five things that we, as said fan base, all have in common and can relate to.
1. Binge-watching (at least) an entire season in one night
Each season has approximately 12 episodes that are around 45 minutes without commercials (thanks, Netflix), so if you do the math...yikes.
2. Being incredibly attracted to Evan Peters, no matter how weird his character looks or is
From school shooter Tate Langdon to psychotic Trump supporter Kai Anderson with long blue hair, the crush has never wavered. Not even as a severed frat boy zombie.
3. Wanting Jessica Lange to come back, no matter what it takes
No one could command a scene and make it completely theirs like Jessica Lange could do in literally every season. When the show announced she would not be returning after Freak Show, a part of me died.
4. Trying to connect all of the seasons, because the conspiracies are driving you crazy
You know they all tie together somehow. Seasons directly reference other seasons, even having cast from previous seasons appear in newer ones with the same names. I can't stop watching YouTube conspiracies and Easter Eggs. Someone help.
5. Celebrating Halloween the second AHS premieres
I don't care if Cult premiered on September 5th, it's Halloween season now. Nothing gets me quite in the spooky spirit like a new season full of gruesome murder. It's the most anticipated aspect of the season, other than the holiday itself.
