1. Waking Up At The Crack Of Dawn
Students who live on campus have the privilege of rolling out of bed and going to class, but commuters have to wake up SUPER early for those 9am classes! No wonder we look like zombies in the morning!
2. Getting Stuck In Rush Hour Traffic
There’s nothing more annoying than going through stop-and-go traffic on the highway. Talk about those inconsiderate people who don’t use their turn signals and change lanes when there’s clearly a car next to them.
3. Driving During Inclement Weather
Rain. Fog. Snow. Black Ice. These are a commuter’s biggest fears. With low visibility and the dangers of skidding, it is so important to drive slow and use your headlights.
4. Trying To Find A Parking Spot Close To Class
Every spot close to your class is usually taken, so you have to walk a long way to get to class. It’s a blessing when you find a parking spot 5 feet away from your class.
5. Extracurricular Activities That Don’t Start Until 9 P.M.
Say your classes end at 12 noon. Who wants to stay on campus for another 9 hours and wait for a club meeting?
Although the struggle is real for commuters, we save a huge chunk of money and can relish the comforts of home. Who doesn't love coming home to a comfy bed and a delicious meal?
