Many people in the world have been students at some point in time and we have all had to go through the painful process of writing an essay. From one page to a hundred, they're all horrible and we all go through these 5 stages of writing them.
1. UGHHHH....
This is the moment in time when you first receive your assignment and you see the horrid word or page requirement and the essay topic that you could answer in three sentences but instead you have to drag it out to be a thousand words.
2. Wait, what essay...?
Remember the essay thats due in two weeks? No? You put it out of your mind because you really didn't want to do it? It's okay, you still have two weeks.
3. Okay, lets do this!
This is the first time you actually sit down in front of your computer and start to look up your topic and how you can possibly start your introduction. However, after getting the introduction and half of the first page down, you get distracted and think, "I still have a week left, I'll finish it up tomorrow."
4. FUUUUU...
This is you, the night before the essay is due, rushing to finish it so you can do all your other homework that you procrastinated on and now you're wishing you weren't such a procrastinator.
5. "My uh... dog... ate it..."
Here come the excuses that you tell your professor hoping that they'll give you an extension. You use "I couldn't get to a printer" even though you just fell asleep while writing and woke up late because luck is always on your side.
