With all of the relaxations of summer vacation comes (occasionally), the perils of summer homework. After surviving the stress of an entire school semester, the reward is more work. It can be trying, and often lingers in the back of your mind as you try to have fun, but hey, knowledge is power, right?
With that said, here are the five stages of doing summer homework, as told by Grey's Anatomy.
1. Denial
Look, I know I have work to do. I've seen it, but summer's just started. There's still time. I deserve a break. I can finish the work later. Right?
2. Annoyance
Oh god. The days are passing. June has become July. It's time. Oh god.
3. Attempting
Okay, so, I read the assignment. It looks longer than it did before. Is that just me? Maybe I deserve a break.
4. Stress
I don't want to start, but if I don't, I'll be super stressed later. But, I'm stressed now too. What the heck?
5. Acceptance
This sucks, but I guess I don't have a choice. The sooner I start, the sooner it'll be over. *sighs*
