Ever since I invested in a good quality blender like a Vitamix, breakfast has never been quicker and easier. Follow these recipes and you can find yourself staying full till lunchtime, avoiding unhealthy breakfast options (I'm looking at you Cocoa Pebbles), and not losing sleep because the best part about smoothies is that they are so easily portable.
1. Banana Berry & Oat
-1 tablespoon of your choice of raw nuts
-1/4 cup oats
-1 banana
-1 cup blueberries
-1 cup milk of your choice
- Dash of pure maple syrup, agave nectar, or vanilla extract for sweetness
2. Chocolate Covered Almond
-2 tbsp cacao powder
-2 tbsp almond butter
-1 banana (preferably frozen)
-1 date
-1 cup milk of your choice
3. PiƱa Colada
1 cup frozen pineapple
-1 cup coconut milk
-1 banana
-Dash of pure maple syrup, agave nectar, or vanilla extract for sweetness
4. Green Protein
-1/2 cup cucumber
-1 cup spinach
-1 banana
-1 cup milk of your choice
-1 scoop vanilla protein powder
-Dash of pure maple syrup, agave nectar, or vanilla extract for sweetness
5. Choco Coffee
-1 banana
-1/4 cup oats
-1 tbsp cacao powder
-1 1/2 to 2 cups strong brewed coffee (chilled)
-1 1/2 to 2 cups milk of your choice (add until desired color of coffee is reached)
