5 Shows You Would've Binge Watched As A 90s Kid

Honestly, I remember waiting weeks just to see the newest Lizzie McGuire episode.

I don't know how your parents were, but watching television was a privilege in my house. We were gifted the remote as long as homework was done. Binge-watching wasn't a thing, in fact, I'm pretty sure there was no way to binge-watch anything. Instead, you had to wait until Friday night to watch a Disney Channel Movie Premiere. I bet kids these days have no idea what that is.

If binge-watching was a thing and you didn't have to wait for channels to replay episodes, these would be on my "previously watched" list.

1. "Zoey 101"

Don't lie, I know you used waited for the computer to dial up just to search if the boarding school in "Zoey 101" was real. That was every kid's dream! Not only was the boarding school amazing but having a group of friends like Zoey's was the perfect combination. Lastly, Chase and Zoey. Need I say more?

2. "Lizzie McGuire"

"If you believe, we've got a picture perfect plan. We've got you fooled..." Anyone else remembers sprinting to the television once the theme song started? Lizzie McGuire was so relatable especially having Gordo and Miranda by her side. Her parents never understood what she was going through and we all know how she felt dealing with Kate. Can we all agree that Ethan was not hard to look at?

3. "Phil of the Future"

Remember the episode where their secret almost got out? I might've had a full-blown panic attack. Phill and Keely were the perfect duo. Anyone remember when he shrunk himself to help Keely in the talent show? Click here!

4. "The Amanda Show"

*Bring in the dancing lobsters* I'm pretty sure there is nothing on television like "The Amanda Show". It was the perfect show to watch after dinner, before reading time. Anyone else had to read for 20 minutes before bed?

5. "The Hills"

"The Hills" was with me throughout middle school and high school. It lifted my spirits every Monday night, and I always got pulled into watching the Aftershow. The big secret was whether or not it was scripted! Now, we all know the truth.

If binge-watching was a thing, what would your show be?

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
