If you're like me, you love writing and sharing your thoughts online. The Internet is a wonderful place to find new, creative ideas and share your own opinions (controversial or otherwise). One really great way to do this is the platform I'm using now: The Odyssey Online! Odyssey is an online platform for people just like you and me to write and share ideas through college campus communities. Every week, creators curate new and exciting pieces for the world to see. Here's why you should be one of them:

1. It's so much fun!

Writing is a blast, and it's even cooler that you get to share it on the web for so many people to read! You can write things you're passionate about, things that make you laugh, or just anything that comes to your head!

2. It's great experience writing on a social platform.

Odyssey gives you that little boost that you need to start writing on a larger platform. Millions of people read these articles from communities all over the United States! Your article just might be the next viral sensation all over Facebook! (You'll never know if you don't try it out, know what I'm sayin'??). Which brings me to my next point...

3. Your articles will be broadcast to a huge audience!

As long as you share and push your articles, they will reach more people than you'd ever dream. Which is awesome, because who wouldn't want their stellar writing skills to be noticed by tons of people?

4. You'll have a chance to express controversial opinions (or not).

Odyssey allows you to write whatever you want as long as it's something you think people can relate to. Odyssey creators write controversial pieces all the time, from religious and political beliefs to social justice issues. Odyssey creators also write fun pieces too. You get the best of both worlds, here (cues Hannah Montana music).

5. You'll meet so many new friends!

I've met some amazing people in my community during my time with Odyssey, and I've loved every second of it. It's honestly a blast getting to know other people in your area and finding out what everyone is interested in.

Applying to be a creator is easy! Just head to this link to apply, and select your school or area as your community! Hope to see a whole lot of new smiling faces joining Odyssey very soon!

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
