1. ICE CREAM
Right when you think Ice cream for breakfast is only acceptable on your birthday, you're wrong. In college you, can have ice cream for breakfast EVERYDAY!!!
Oh and don't forget lunch... and dinner.... and dessert....
2. SALAD BARS
Going into college you think- "I won't gain the freshman 15- I'll just have salads every day!"
BIGGEST LIE EVER
First, this is a foolproof plan until you start to realize the salad bars are the same every day and the thought of lettuce starts to makes you gag.
Yes, salad is more accessible than it may have been at home but so are those cookies!! (Especially when your mom deprived you from cookies all your life!!)

3. DINING HALL HOURS
What's the best way to get through late night homework session? FOOD.
Some dining halls are open until midnight. And when those dining halls have amazing milk shakes you find yourself walking towards that dining hall late at night...and when you hate yourself after for having that milkshake you tell yourself that you were sleep walking and it was out of your control!

4. SMOOTHIES
Don't even get my started about this! When I learned that my college had a smoothie bar I was STOKED! I went right after class to get a smoothie basically skipping my way to the dining hall. I was finally able to have another healthy option that wasn't freaking salad.
WRONG.
The smoothie bars at BSU suck!!! Don't get me wrong they taste great, but you can't image the shock I was in when I ordered a strawberry and banana smoothie and see them pour processed liquid strawberries and bananas into the blender!!
I ASKED FOR A SMOOTHIE NOT A CUP OF FREAKING FAKE SUGAR!!
5. SERVING SIZES
Okay I get it, they are trying to help us. But giving us small servings of the main meal (basically the healthiest part, besides the salad of course) isn't going to prevent us from gaining weight! When you give us so little food while the other options are both self serving, unhealthy, and great tasting - what do you think we are going to pick?? THE PIZZA OF COURSE!
And PLEASE if you're going to serve us the main course meal, at least make it taste good!!
You can tell your self that you won't gain the freshman 15. You can tell yourself you are going to eat healthy and workout everyday, but let's face it- your schedules are busy, most of the time you're most likely tired and lazy, and when you see those cookies and ice cream are you really going to be able to avoid eating it?
I swear if you're able to end freshman year without gaining weight, you are magical and I forever will praise you for your success!
And for those who do gain the freshman 15... you are not alone!!
