To every individual, the term "family" can mean different things. My family is very important to me, and we often laugh at how we could have our own reality show. Over the past year or two, my family has really enjoyed the show Chrisley Knows Best. It is a show on the USA network. This southern family finds themselves in the midst of chaos every single episode. Todd Chrisley, the father of the family, might be the best person I have ever watched on reality TV. He keeps his family under a tight regime. Of course, where would reality TV be without the humor and drama? His kids love to act out and disobey their father, making the show one hundred times better. Also, did I mention how cute and hilarious their grandma, Nanny Faye is? If you've never watched this show, I will assure you through five reasons as to what makes this show so relatable.

1. They live the "typical high-end, Southern" dream.

Todd Chrisley is all about living fancy. He loves to treat his family to vacations and fun days out. He usually is very generous on handing his kids the money to do things. All of the Chrisley family has a southern accident, and they fully embody the "typical Southern family".

2. Nanny Faye ... this one speaks for itself.

Nanny Faye, Todd's mother, is one of the best people featured on the show. The kids always go to her to complain, to get out of the house, or to be rebellious. Nanny Faye has been seen going to casinos and out living her best life. Her adventurous and "kid at heart" attitude keep us entertained when watching her. She is the grandma that I aspire to be.

3. They prank each other...and they do a good job at it.

Todd is the type of person that will say whatever he wants, when he wants, and it is pure gold. It is so funny to watch him attempt to keep tabs on his family. He usually has no filter and the things he says are so relatable and true. I'm so glad the show has someone like him to say the things we are all thinking.

5. Todd and his wife, Julie, are what you want from a relationship.

Chrisley Knows Best I highly recommend you do so. Check them out when they return to television again around March. Their family is entertaining, adventurous, comical, and real. It doesn't hide the hardships, but it also shows how light-hearted and philanthropic their family can be.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
