If you travel to Costa Rica, you will probably find that the temperature will always be between 82.4 and 62.6. And unless you travel during rainy season, you will find the weather sunny and warm during the day, and crisp and cool during the night.

According to the Happy Planet Index conducted in 2016 Cost Rica is the happiest country in the world, and according to the World Happiness Report conducted in 2017 Costa Rica is the 12th happiest country in the world.

It might be because we have no army, it might be the beautiful weather, or just the fact that Costa Rica has the “Pura Vida” lifestyle. Whatever the reason, I can assure you that during your visit to Costa Rica you will encounter kind and helpful people that will put a smile on your face.

4. Costa Rica has some of the best coffee in the world.

If you are a coffee lover then Costa Rica is most definitely the place for you. As a very very small country Costa Rica produces 1% of the world’s coffee, which may not sound a lot, but for a country with a total area of 19,714 miles, and 4.9 million people that is actually pretty impressive.

Costa Rican coffee beans, especially those produced in Tarrazú are considered to be some of the most desirable coffee beans in the world. In fact, Tarrazú Geisha coffee became the most expensive coffee sold by Starbucks in over 48 of their stores.

5. Costa Rican cities are actually pretty developed.

So there you have it, next time you are planning to travel overseas for vacation go to Costa Rica, I can personally guarantee that you will have the time of your life!
