About two weeks ago, I went to Atlanta to compete in the Swim Club National meet. We had loads of fun, got to know each other better, and explored such a wonderful city.

In that time, I've realized how nice Atlanta was and decided that one day I wouldn't mind living there. Here are some reasons that you should pack up too:

1. Weather!

The weather is almost always nice! Sure, while I was there, two days were overcast. However, one day it was 74 degrees and sunny, and absolutely wonderful. You'll almost never be missing a dose of vitamin D!

2. The lovely murals

While my swim team and I were driving around the city, I saw dozens of murals painted in random corners. They always depicted something about the area or really featured the vibrancy of Atlanta life. The paintings would incorporate sports, landmarks, or any other stand-outs that the city has to offer.

3. Employment

No matter your dream, you can pursue it in Georgia. Atlanta is especially chock-full of jobs for the young and hungry. Hospitals, CNN/Turner Broadcasting, law firms, and plenty of other job opportunities are thriving and waiting for you to apply.

4. Landmarks and buzzing social spots

Whether it's Centennial Olympic Park, the Georgia Aquarium, or the World of Coca-Cola, you'll never be bored. It seems easy to get lost in the city and find something new. There are such beautiful sights and so many things to do, that you'll never feel bored or restless in this thriving, bustling metropolis.

5. SPORTS

The Falcons, Braves, Hawks, and many more...there's a sport for everyone and a team that usually doesn't disappoint (We're not going to talk about the Super Bowl, okay?). Sporting events are a great way to make friends in a new city because they always bring a crowd together. They all share the same passion for the same sport and the atmosphere alone is enough to make you feel like you're home.

Atlanta is a beautiful city with many great qualities. I feel fortunate to have been there for even three days. It's nothing short of southern comfort and a great place for you to call home.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
