Florida is arguably best known for Disney World. Opening in 1971, DisneyWorld includes Hollywood Studios, Magic Kingdom, EPCOT, Animal Kingdom, Blizzard Beach, and Typhoon Lagoon. Disney World offers a wide arrange of activities and rides for not only oneself but for the whole family. This can range from fun, family-friendly rides, such as Kali River Rapids, or something more adventurous like Expedition Everest.

The Everglades is this amazing National Park in Southern Florida. It is home to a wide variety of wildlife such as alligators, panthers, egrets, and coral snakes. Visitors at the Everglades National Park are able to view an entire ecosystem at its most pristine. The Everglades is an amazing representation of the natural beauty present all around the state of Florida.

One of the things the state of Florida is best known for is its beaches. Florida's beaches draw thousands of people yearly. Florida is the only state in the continental United States that is surrounded on all sides by the ocean. As a result, there is a wide variety of beaches that visitors can choose from for their personal leisure.

Cape Canaveral, Florida is the location of the Kennedy Space Center. It is the premiere location for the United States' space program. Visitors will have the opportunity to admire the center and learn about the location's rich and long history. The Kennedy Space Center is still used today by companies like SpaceX to conduct their various space related operations.

Florida, especially South Florida has been known for its avid nightlife. South Beach is a hub for various clubs and night owls, with many staying until the dead of night. Some of the most well-known clubs at South Beach include the Basement and LIV. In addition, the neon lights, which were carried over from the Vice Nights of Miami in the 80s is a staple of the South Beach aesthetic.

These reasons and more is why you should pay Florida a visit!

Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.

A bad day at the lake is still better than a good day not at the lake.

You know the best beaches and coves to go to.

You have no patience for the guy who can't back his trailer into the water right.

Doing the friendly wave to every boat you pass.

The cooler is always packed, mostly with beer.

Giving the idiot who goes 30 in a "No Wake Zone" a piece of your mind.

You have no problem with peeing in the water.

You know the frustration of getting your anchor stuck.

Watching in awe at the bigger, better boats that pass by.

Knowing any swimsuit that you own with white in it is best left for the pool or the ocean.
