Recently with summer starting, I was looking for a show to binge watch during my free time. After watching the first episode of Famous in Love, I was hooked. I could not get enough of the scandal and watching the main character, Paige, go from college student to famous.
Freeform has yet to announce if there will be a second season, and why? I have no idea! I think this show is the next Gossip Girl; filled with good looking actors and a great storyline that has me wanting to know more. So here are five reasons why they should:
1. Rainer is a totally mysterious and very appealing to the eye, but is he a good boy and bad boy?
I haven't even gotten the chance to figure it out yet. One minute they're talking about how bad of a boyfriend he is and how selfish he can be, but then he helps Paige so much and always does the right thing by her. I am completely conflicted and need to find out more.
2. We need to know who Paige ends up with! I really do not know who she'll end up picking.
At the beginning of the show, you would think she would start dating Jake, her roommate and best friend. They kissed and everything but every time they were alone together they never ended up talking about it! Then Rainer is doing all these great things for her and there's obviously a connection there but once again she still has not chosen just one.
3. Who killed Barrett?
This guy was really asking for it all season but I would never have thought he would be killed?! He had so much dirt on everyone, so who knows who actually did it. He pretty much had it out for everyone but Paige.
4. Since when did Tangey become such a diva?
If it's not perfect she wants nothing to do with you and she even blackmailed Nina. Nina hired her with no acting experience and with all the conflicts found a way to keep her on the movie. So is Tangey the new heartless character ready to sting everyone she knows to get to the top?
5. When will Paige admit to her new life of fame?
At the beginning of the first episode, they foreshadowed Paige a year after she got the part in the movie. Paige was totally comfortable with being famous and it seemed like she knew exactly what she's doing, which is totally opposite from her this entire season; she's been the lost puppy dog. Not only that, but she's alone, and she's never alone in the first season. She's always had friends or Rainer, so when did she finally embrace her new life?
All these unanswered questions are exactly why there needs to be another season. And if you have not seen the first one the entire season is on freeform.com, 10/10 recommend.
