Each season has different elements that make it unique. Many people have opinions about which one is best. I like different things about each of the seasons, but fall is by far the best season for the following reasons.

1. The Colors

Fall is by far the most colorful season, with maybe spring coming in as a close second. The leaves changing colors is something I look forward to every year. The vast array of colors in the woods and mountains is truly a work of art. It's a wonderful time to enjoy nature and appreciate your surroundings. A perfect time to go camping or hiking.

2. The Festivities

Fall is the best time for family activities. From carving pumpkins, to hay rides and Halloween. Fall has activities for everyone. This is a great way to spend time with loved ones in the fresh air. It isn't too hot or too cold. The weather is perfect, with nice breezes–a great bonding experience. And who doesn't love fall or Halloween cookies?

3. Fair Season

One of my personal favorites is the NC State Fair. I always enjoy trying different foods, winning prizes and riding rides. It's such a fun atmosphere. The bright colors from the rides and fireworks add to an amazing experience full of fun. The fair has a crazy food selection, with something for everyone to try. Some might be unique to the fair and are definitely something to look forward to when visiting.

4. The Best Holidays

Fall is the time of some of the best holidays. Halloween is looked forward to every year on campus and is a fun experience to be creative. Thanksgiving closely follows, and I believe everyone can appreciate Thanksgiving. So many foods to try, and you're eating leftovers the whole week after. Definitely a plus for a college student. These are also more family oriented holidays. College kids can go home on vacation and enjoy time away from school.

5. Sweater Weather

Fall is the perfect time to break out your sweatshirts, boots and leggings. It just chilly enough to wear cozy sweaters. Anything soft such as fuzzy socks and blankets are also necessities. It's not too hot to get sweaty walking to class. Fall has just enough of a chill to be enjoyable and something to look forward to as the seasons change. Hoodie weather its the best weather.

Final Thoughts:

Fall overall has so many great things to participate in. It's a great temperature and is equally as beautiful. It is by far one of the best seasons, and my absolute favorite. I look forward to fall every year and can't wait to see what else the season holds.
