Throughout the year we must adjust to the various conditions of the changing season. As a result, we tend to favor a particular season over the rest. For a lot of people, it is the fall season. Fall is a peaceful season that hosts a lot of nostalgic events. Here are 5 reasons why you should look forward to the fall season:

1. Vibrant Fall Colors.

One of the best parts about the fall season is seeing all of the vibrant colors take over the terrain. We see all the green trees and grass that flourished during the spring and summer season change into a variety of reds, yellows, and oranges. When we were younger, the fall season also meant that all the red, yellow, and orange leaves would fall onto the ground allowing us to make the biggest leaf pile to jump into.

2. Perfect Weather.

Another reason a lot of people anticipates the fall season is because it is the time of the year when the weather is usually perfect. This means that it perfect time of year to participate in activates outside. Unfortunately, while we enjoy the nice cool weather of the fall, the fact that Mother Nature has freezing winter weather to come is always in the back of our heads.

3. Holidays.

What possibly makes the fall season so memorable and desired by a lot of people is the fact that the two major holidays, Halloween and Thanksgiving, take place during the fall. We can remember dressing up for Halloween and anticipating all the candy you were going to pile up while trick-or-treating.

Even several days after Halloween we pleaded with our parents to let us wear our costumes around the house while we devoured the mountain of candy we were able to obtain. As soon as Halloween is finished we are preparing for Thanksgiving dinner in what seems like a blink of an eye. Thanksgiving is one of the most anticipated holidays throughout the year as it is the only day we get a free pass for overeating. There is nothing better than playing football without pads with your friends and family then going back into a house full of food.

4. Sports.

For a lot of people, the fall season only means one thing, sports. This is because Football, Baseball, Soccer, Golf, Basketball, And Hockey all overlap during the fall. This also means that this is typically the most competitive time of year, as fantasy sports leagues are becoming more popular. There is nothing like catching an early round of golf on a Sunday morning in October then going home to watch the Brown’s win.

5. Technology Surge.

Something else that comes during the fall season that a lot of people overlook is a surge in technological devices being released. The fall season is typically when we see a lot of new devices, such as the new iPhone X, being released. Releasing technology during the fall season allows companies to capitalize on the holiday season a few weeks down the road.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
