Being a fraternal twin is one of the coolest things because instead of tricking people by looking alike, you can confuse them even more because of how different you look! As my twin sister and I have spent nineteen years together along with tons of experience in answering questions by many people, I've accumulated the top five questions that we seem to get on a daily basis.

1. Are You Related?

Okay.. so when my twin sister and I were younger we attended the same elementary school and whenever we spotted each other at recess I would IMMEDIATELY run to annoy her the most that I possibly could. Many would be confused by this interaction because we don't look alike and we would usually be extremely in synch with our thoughts although our personalities were extremely different. This would raise the burning question "Are you related" as my sister and I would constantly respond "Yes, we are exactly two minutes apart". We always loved the reaction of people figuring out that we were twins and not just friends that pretended to be.

2. Can You Read Each others Minds?

This is the question that we probably get the most and as you're expecting me to say no, it's actually a bit more complicated than that. So I guess you could say that we aren't exactly your "That's So Raven" gals, but we somehow can suspect when something is bothering the other twin. Let's get to specifics.. I believe it was our fourth birthday party when my sister and I were in separate rooms for just a few minutes and I felt something was off and started crying, little did I know that my twin was doing the same on the other side of the wall. Yes that may have just been a coincidence, but I like to believe it was a twin connection!

3. Do You Guys Like The Same Things?

Let's just begin with the fact that my sister and I absolutely HATED matching outfits when we were younger and quickly began to bcome independent in the way we wanted to portray ourselves. My twin and I always knew that we were different people and throughout our childhood it would be so important to make sure people knew that. The best was during our birthdays when people would give us the same gifts and we became so aware of it that we wouldn't face each other when it was time to open presents. YES this is a fact but over the years that began to come to a close as our parents realized how different we truly are.

4. Do You Have The Same Friends?

Being the same age every year you would think that it would be common for you and your twin to meet the same people and become friends with the same groups. I'll be completely honest and say that sometimes this did happen with us and it still does at some points! But then again there are other times that I don't hang out with my sister and her friends because they are just a little bit more similar to her and there aren't too many things that we have in common. It's always fun to mix it up though and see who she surrounds herself with!

5. WAIT I've Known You Both For Years, You're Sisters?

This might sound dumb but you could know people for YEARS and some just don't find the time to figure out that you're twins. This is extremely true as it has happened to my sister and I probably about five or six times from the top of my head in the last five to ten years which is so sad. It's really funny though when you see their reactions as they realized that they've truly played themselves while everyone else around them has known forever!

So yes all jokes aside, being a fraternal twin is truly amazing. If you're a fraternal twin reading this out there, you and your twin are awesome! But if you're not that's totally cool too, and maybe this list will help you find a set of fraternal twins in your own life!!

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
