Based on what I saw on my feed regarding the recent global catastrophes, I think it is beyond time we talk about this. My love, let's face it: There are people who shouldn't be allowed to post anything on Facebook, or any social media for that matter, and you are one of them.
I know sometimes it seems like good idea to show the world what you have to say about a variety of subjects of human existence, but trust me, it's not. And because I believe you are having a hard time figuring this out, I came up with a list for you to use whenever you feel that maleficent urge that makes you type sh*t:
1. Just, you know...don't.
I know sometimes you feel like you are smart and/or funny and you think you can influence and inspire your network with your posts. But you have to understand, most of those times, you are not the most qualified person to do so. And also, and I mean it in the kindest way possible: No one cares.
2. Learn how to play the piano.
Since you have time to spare and because of that you tend to post sh*t on Facebook, why not make better use of that time? Study, read, learn some new things. Like how to play the piano. I guarantee you'll be much more admired by the people you know on social media.
3. Dance.
You keep on posting so much sh*t on Facebook, so maybe the problem is that you forgot how to be happy. In that case, being happy is just like riding a bike. Eat some chocolate, meditate, get a puppy, or dance like there is no tomorrow. I know you can do it.
4. Exercise.
I know that can be painful. But you have to understand that what you post on Facebook is also painful. To others. So invest your energy in something better, something helpful. Just don't start posting your whole diet on social media instead.
5. Love.
Instead of using all your hatred to post sh*t on Facebook, why don't spread love? That may be hard for you at first, but that can be your chance to influence people. For better, this time. Remember, love is all you need.
