Have you ever wondered the best place to get cheap clothes? These places I have listed tend to be at the top of my list, all the way from thrift stores to a store called Rainbow— these places have the best cheap clothes

1. Thrift Stores!

My all-time favorite place to buy cheap clothes at is the thrift store. I may spend an ungodly amount of time carefully looking through then trying on the clothes, but it is definitely worth it! It’s the best when they label clothes somewhat in the wrong size, no one gets them, and then I find them marked down to the cheapest possible price. Well, we can never really tell with sizing anyway.

-The rest of these aren’t in any specific order....the thrift store just had to be first!-

2. Rue 21

No, I don’t quite like Rue items at their normal price-so thank goodness there always seems to be something on sale! I’ve found at least two cheap (meaning under $10) dresses there and a plethora of tops. Not just dresses and tops though-sometimes they have jewelry or shoes marked down to very affordable prices as well.

3. Rainbow

So anyone that’s been in this store knows that they have $1, $5, $3 and $10 racks and because I’m so cheap-that’s the only place I look. Granted that you try everything on (Again, sizes are wonky, fickle little things) and the things you get fit you well, there are some really cool items. I especially like it when I find a good top for cheap there.

4. Ross

Okay, I LOVE Ross. There are plenty of great tops-and sometimes pants- there. Many of my coolest looking tops came from Ross. I can almost always find something unique there...plus they have a discount rack that I always oogle. Their shoes are pretty affordable as well and they sell cheap nail polish, socks, and lipstick!

5. Walmart

I know, I know, I used to be the person that would always turn up their nose at Walmart clothing. A few years back, it seems like all they had was bad t-shirts and cringy pants. Let me tell you, I don’t like cringy pants. However, recently, I’ve noticed that they’ve stepped up their game. I now, with no shame, buy their $8 black skinny jeans. I recently got three shirts from their summer clearance for $3 each- they all fit well and just had overall great designs. I will continue to get great deals on clothes here-even if I am going to get labeled as a Walmart person.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.

Top 10 Reasons My School Rocks!

Why I Chose a Small School Over a Big University.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
