Everyone knows someone who always has a look of disgust or anger on their face. You could catch someone across the room and it looks like they just aren't interested in life or anything that day. And for those of us that are that person that you see with a look of disinterest on their face, you know the stereotype this has given you. You have been categorized with Resting B***h Face, and have learned the many ways to tell people not to take it personally, it's just your face. If you are anything like me, you have definitely gotten used to explaining yourself after accusations like these.
1. "Did I do/say something to you?"
No!! You honestly didn't!! I just have this face normally and if you are talking to me and I make that face, PLEASE don't take it personally!!
2. "Someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed..."
I could have slept for 24 hours straight, had dreams about puppies and gotten ready with plenty of time in the morning but still have RBF. I'm telling you, I could have started my day off on a great note but my facial expression ain't changin'!
3. "Are you okay?!"
Y-E-S I am fine, I promise! If I were doing awful, you would know. My face when I'm mad is a million times worse than normal, so trust me, I'm good!
4. "Who/what made you mad?"
O.K. I seriously mean it when I say that nothing did. I mean if you want to make me mad, keep asking me about my facial expression then I'll show you mad.
5. "He...oh never mind I'll ask you when you feel better"
Ask me now! I am perfectly able to talk to you and have a conversation right now! If you think my facial expression says otherwise, then that's on you!! I'm kidding, but for real just have that conversation with me now!
