Here are 5 of some of my favorite dishes to enjoy while home:
1. Lemon Chicken with wild rice.
This dish is the first thing and the last thing I want when I come home for any break. It just reminds me of home.
2. Lasagna.
When I have an Italian craving, the first food that comes to mind is lasagna. To add a bit of flavor to the dish, adding some spicy sausage is just the trick.
3. Prime Rib with garlic mashed potatoes.
The flavors in this dish are forever satisfying. I love how these flavors mesh together.
4. Caprese Salad.
The old traditional tomato, mozzarella, and basil is a delicious and healthy snack. It is extremely easy to prepare and leaves you with a refreshed feeling.
5. Chocolate Chip Cookies.
Nothing like dessert to finish off. Chocolate chip cookies are a classic and work with every meal. They are perfect with a tall glass of milk.
