If you haven't noticed, indoor plants are all the rave these days! With Earth Day just two days away, I found it fitting to make a list of the five trendy indoor plants that you should consider getting to spruce up your place!

1. Pilea Peperomioides (Chinese Money Plant)

This plant is the current trend amongst the plant community! Maybe its it unique shape or the fun way the it grows that makes it so popular. If you are looking for a trending plant to buy it's the Chinese money plant! This plant does come at a pretty penny though so start saving! I will say thought that once you invest in on plant you can buy as many as you want! That is because this plant is one that can be propagated (the breeding of specimens of a plant by natural processes from the parent stock) very easily.

2. Tillandsia (Air Plant)

This is a plant that just looks super cool. If you are somewhat into plants you may have heard of the popular snake plant. This is its cooler younger sister. If you want to spruce up your room then get this funky plant today.

4. Epipremnum Aureum (Golden Pothos/Devil's Ivy)

The pothos is a beautiful yet easy plant to have in your house. This plant grows so fast and is the perfect trailing plant. If you keep up with Pinterest you may have noticed that macrame plant hangers are a super popular in-room decor right now. This is the plant that I would recommend you buy for a macrame hanger! They are super affordable and super cute.

5. Succulents

I saved the best for last! If you are blind or just don't ever leave your room then let me introduce you to one of the most popular plants right now: succulents. These plants are super cute and come in all shapes in sizes. They are part of the cacti family so they are super easier to maintain. One of my favorite things about these plant is the fact that they REFUSE TO DIE. I strongly believe that everyone should get their own succulent today!

I am a strong believer in plants and the life that they bring into a room. My addiction to plants started with one succulent and grew into an obsession. Even if you aren't the biggest fan of plants I urge you to just buy one and see where it takes you! So I wish you a happy earth day and remind you to stay green and stay happy!

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
