I’m not gonna lie, I like my fair share of junk food and fast food places. But, sometimes, you have to give your poor body a break. I mean, it can only handle so much Taco Bell, right? So, before you go on an all-carb diet, try out these grool tips and tricks! You’re welcome.
1. Cinnamon makes everything taste 10 times better.
Cinnamon is a great substitute for sugar! Add it to your coffee, tea, yogurt, or oatmeal. Not only does it make everything taste like dessert, but it does all this other great stuff, like fighting bacteria and body infections. How crazy is that?
2. Chia Seeds are basically life.
Packed with Omega-3 fatty acids, fiber and protein, these seeds do so much good, yet they’re so tiny, and bonus -- you can’t even taste them! Add them in your smoothie, yogurt, or oatmeal and you won’t even notice that you ate one of the most healthiest foods on the planet! The planet, you guys!
3. Nuts! And get your head out of the gutter -- I meant almonds and walnuts.
Almonds and walnuts help against heart disease, lower cholesterol, and high blood pressure -- so basically everything that just sucks. So the most you can do is pick up some almonds and walnuts and stick them in your salad, yogurt, or yes, even smoothie! Smoothies are essentially like a large vortex -- everything just disappears and you can’t really even taste it. But that’s OK 'cause that’s all we really want in life anyway.
4. Bell peppers are actually too legit to quit.
Bell peppers may seem like this uninteresting vegetable, what with their practically non-existent spice level, but they actually do a lot! They have a crap load of vitamin C and fiber (and that’s important because..well.. you know). And all you have to do is slice those babies up and dip them in your favorite hummus -- because come on, we all have a favorite hummus -- and bam! You have a delish snack. Shall we applaud?
5. A smoothie is just one big vortex.
Smoothies are one of the best inventions in the world if you’re just not in the mood to chew actual food. I mean, that’s probably the highest level of lazy a person can get to, but if you're that person, then a smoothie is the way to go. You can add spinach, kale or whatever greens you want alongside some fruit and voila! You basically just made a mini snack!
But, whatever -- you can always just get some cheese fries.
