"The Witch" takes its time to get going, and does not try to make you jump out of your seat. What "The Witch" does have is a creepy atmosphere and interesting setting. "The Witch" is a love-it or hate-it kind of movie, but any fan of horror should give it a shot, because they might find their new favorite film.

Over the course of the movie, the protagonist (played by Will Forte) learns about his father’s past.
