As fall rolls around, we can all admit that we're looking for some new insta ideas--and here's a few! There are lots of fall fun activities out there for all of us to enjoy! So, here are a few ideas to spend the beautiful fall weather!

1. Apple Picking

Apple season is the best season. Now is the time to get in cute outfits and spend the day picking apples with your best friends. The perfect time to go is when the air just gets a little chilly, so when you spend the day outside, you can wear a cozy sweater. Apple farms are all over the place, and this is usually an inexpensive activity that is fun for everyone. You can bring your parents, your boyfriend, or even just a group of friends. This is a super fun activity exclusive to fall that you can do over and over again!

2. Pumpkin Carving

Halloween is just around the corner, and this is the best time to go pumpkin picking. Even better, you can make this a two-part activity with all of your friends! You can spend the day picking your pumpkins at a local farm, then go home and decorate and carve your pumpkins. Pinterest has endless ideas on how to carve pumpkins, so you can definitely get creative. This is the epitome of fall--and if you're looking for something to do to get into the fall spirit, this is truly the activity for you!

3. Hay Rides

If you're looking for a fun thing to do with your family and friends, this is an easy and fun option. Hayrides are the best in the fall, as you take a ride around a farm with all of your friends. Even better--toward Halloween, you can take a Haunted Hay Ride with your friends for a fun and scary time. They're safe for all ages and are usually at most places where you can apple or pumpkin pick. You can take in the beautiful fall scenery with all of your friends, and maybe even enjoy a cup of apple cider or hot chocolate.

4. Corn Mazes

Looking for an interactive challenge--go to a corn maze. This is such a fun time to enjoy the outdoors before it gets too cold. You can spend hours trying to escape the difficult levels, or you can take the easy route! There are even some places that offer Haunted Mazes or mazes in the dark for an extra challenge! Overall, this is a fun way to experience fall.

5. Flannel Shopping

And the best activity of all...Flannel Shopping! This is arguably the best fall activity of all. This is the best time to snuggle up and enjoy the cool air without the fear of snow. Flannels are so comfy and soft--truly a wardrobe staple for the cool weather. You can find them pretty inexpensively and almost anywhere! Flannel shopping is super fun.

I was asked so many times why I wanted to go to a small school when a big university is so much better. Don't get me wrong, I'm sure a big university is great but I absolutely love going to a small school. I know that I miss out on big sporting events and having people actually know where it is. I can't even count how many times I've been asked where it is and I know they won't know so I just say "somewhere in the middle of Wisconsin." But, I get to know most people at my school and I know my professors very well. Not to mention, being able to walk to the other side of campus in 5 minutes at a casual walking pace. I am so happy I made the decision to go to school where I did. I love my school and these are just a few reasons why.
