I’ve enjoyed video games from the time I first got my hands on an NES console way back when. Since then I’ve been a consistent follower of the latest games and systems to come out. I grew up playing the Nintendo consoles, which is undoubtedly my favorite system of all time, but as of late with school and working occupying my time I haven’t had the chance to play consoles as much—but what I have found time for is web browser-based games.
Web browser-based games are one that don’t require much stuff to play and are generally pretty fast-paced, which makes playing a few minutes in between homework pretty easy to do.
Here are some of my favorites. I've included what kind each is as well as some pros and cons.
1. "Diep"
Type: Multiplayer Tank Shooter.
Pros: No ads, lots of classes, events, achievements, and fast game play.
Cons: No accounts so you restart achievements every time you play on a new computer.
2. "Town of Salem."
Type: Multiplayer Mafia.
Pros: Strategy game, team based, large variety of roles, ranked play, and rewards.
Cons: Tends to attract toxic players, games can drag on.
3. "Agar."
Type: Multiplayer Other.
Pros: Really fast gameplay, ability to log in and save info, unique, and fun easter eggs.
Cons: Noticeably poor performance with weak internet connection.
4. "A DarkRoom."
Type: Single Player RPG.
Pros: Minimalist design allows good performance anytime, lots of options to choose, make your own story, and easy to learn.
Cons: Although great for performance, the minimalist design lacks excitment.
5. "Happy Wheels."
Type: Single Player Puzzle.
Pros: Fun cartoony graphics, official levels as well as user created levels, dark humor, and challenging.
Cons: Slow performance on older systems, and ads.
