As a college student, you can often feel like an overwhelmed, hot mess. But hey, at least we can look good doing it?We all have our own little addictions; things we can't live without. For some, it's a person, place or thing. For me, it's Pinterest. Every night, I find that the culprit of my 6 hour sleeps is this app I love so dearly. You can get on this app and find anything you could possibly think of. Let's be real, most of the time I don't even open the app looking for something specific, but rather for things to catch my eye. My favorite board to maintain my account is my "Dream Wardrobe" file. Here lies my virtual closet; 256 pins strong. These are some of my cozy winter faves and spring break steals!

1. Oversized Fuzzy Coats

Whether you are wearing one with a t-shirt underneath in the warmer winter days, or underneath a parka in the frigid days of January, these coats are always in style. Not only are they cute on, but they are also comfortable, too. They have a similar feel to a sherpa blanket, and if you ask me, wearing a practically-blanket around all day doesn't sound so bad! (Try Urban Outfitters "UO Shaila Oversized Fuzzy Jacket, $89).

2. Platform Sneakers

These are the shoes you can rock all year long. With jeans, skirts, dresses, these shoes will give you the boost that any outfit could use... Literally and figuratively. Available in many different colors and styles, you are sure to find a pair of these sneakers that can become your new go-to's! (Try Steve Madden Platform Slip-On

Sneakers "Gills", $79.95)

3. Bucket Bag

This is the purse you can use for any occasion. For people who are on the go often and tend to just throw things in their bag, this is the perfect fit. Coming in small, medium, and large sizes, bucket bags can accommodate your personal tote bag needs. (Try Madewell "The Medium Drawstring Transport Tote, $168)

4. Mid-Length Dresses

While I am usually too short to pull off this effortless-looking trend, I love to see these dresses on other people! They are an easy, vacation essential for beach-goers to slip over a swimsuit, or to wear to a dinner. These versatile dresses are a spring break/summer time essential for those who can't be bothered with shorts and pesky off-the-shoulder tops. (Try Mura Boutique "Sunflower Seeds Dress" in the color Mustard $49.79

5. Denim Skirt

I am finding that this is one of those wardrobe staples in college. Perfect for a summer tailgate, or paired with tights, booties, and an oversized sweater in the winter. Neutral and versatile, this is easily the most practical item a young woman could have in her closet. (Try Urban Outfitters "Levi's Deconstructed Denim Mini Skirt", $69)

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
