As the leaves change colors and the warmth starts to turn into cold, we all are looking for a hot cup of something to keep us warm. Now I know living in Florida, winter, is not really a thing but it's definitely okay to pretend. If you're looking for a new drink to get warm and cozy with this fall, check out my favorites !
1. Soy Chai Latte
This is my absolute favorite drink from Starbucks. It can either come hot or iced but we're talking about warm drinks this time. I personally think it tastes better hot. At Starbucks they also add a little but of hot water to dilute the chai, I have them hold off on the h20 and take my chai strong. The little hint of spice from the chai mixed with the vanilla soy milk is a cozy, sweet treat !
2. Caramel Apple Spice
When I worked at Starbucks and I first made this drink I found it so odd that I was steaming apple juice, but I had to try it and boy I am glad I did. Add some pumps of cinnamon dulce syrup, steamed apple juice, top it off with whipped cream and some caramel drizzle. This drink is a bit on the sweet side so if you don't want it ass sweet, you can ask for less pumps of syrup or hold off on the caramel drizzle. It's kind of like eating a caramel apple !
3. Red Rooibos Tea
This tea is my absolute favorite on any occasion, but especially when its chilly out. It also has a lot of health benefits. Health benefits of red rooibos tea include its use as a cure for headaches, insomnia, asthma, eczema, bone weakness, hypertension, allergies, and premature aging. This tea is absolutely free from caffeine content and is also low in tannins. Drinking rooibos tea can further ease severe stomach cramps, as well as bring relief to asthma and other related conditions. It also boosts the immune system.
4. Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate
This seasonal drink is one I always look forward too when the holidays roll around. This sweet drink will definitely warm you up and satisfy your sweet tooth. Be careful because this drink is really hot, I've been too excited and burned my mouth pretty bad lol.5. Peppermint White Chocolate Mocha
It wouldn't be the holiday season without a little peppermint involved! This classic Starbucks drink takes a twist with a few pumps of white chocolate and peppermint. It's a perfect way to stay warm and get that little taste of peppermint along the way.I know all of the drinks are from Starbucks, but you can easily make them at home too! Just google whichever drink you like the most and a homemade version will be there waiting just for you.
Cheers !
