We all love to set that new years resolution of “this is the year I get fit!” but how many of us actually dedicate our efforts to the gruesome chore of crawling away from Netflix and putting on those tennis shoes? Once one actually makes it to the gym do they jump on to the stair master or go into the scary area of lifting weights?
1. The girl who goes to the gym so people see her at the gym
This is an obvious one for girls. We’ve all been there, picking the elliptical that has the best view of the guy bench-pressing across the gym, and coating on mascara before we dare enter the area. Obviously, when he walks by they have to speed up your workout to actually create a sweat, but hey, I guess it’s worth the view.
2. The friend that tags along for gym day when the season calls for it.
That moment they ask their fit friends if you can join them for leg day at the gym to be able to rock that bikini come spring break time and the friends’ faces automatically changes from excited to worried. They are already imagining the thousands of questions that they will be asked when they give instructions on what machine to use
3. The gym junkie
These people are the best! You can find them in the gym wearing a shirt that reveals every muscle they have and doing a thousand pull-ups while sipping on their blender bottles. They may not be doing a competition any time soon, but they care enough to still show up every single day. Major props to them for going
4. The over-achieving bodybuilder
I highly recommend staying away from them at the gym due to the fear of their biceps being bigger
5. The homebound gym user
Did you know they have workout videos on Netflix that you can play on repeat? Youtube works too.
