A new season calls for new books. Celebrate the arrival of spring with these upcoming releases.


1. "Don't Get Caught" by Kurt Dinan

Release Date: April 1st

Max is just average. He has an average GPA, average popularity, and average looks. So, when he receives a secret invitation to the prank-pulling Chaos Club, he sees it as the chance to leave "Just Max" behind. However, he soon realizes that he's been pranked and decides to get revenge. Told as a series of heist rules, fans of "The Breakfast Club" and "Ocean Eleven" will enjoy this novel.


2. "When We Collided" by Emery Lord

Release Date: April 5th

Vivi loves life, spontaneity, and being the center of attention. When she arrives at Verona Cove, Jonah, resigned to a life of taking care of his family in place of his father, soon falls in love. However, there's a darker side to Vivi: depression that she is desperate to hide. "When We Collided" is a thoughtful YA novel about mental health and illness.


3. "The Everything Box" by Richard Kadrey

Release Date: April 19th

In 22000 B.C., an angel stands ready to bring the end of humanity. Except, he lost the device. Fast forward to 2015, where a thief named Coop steals the device for the government (staffed by zombies and manta rays) and suddenly everyone is racing to get their hands on it. "The Everything Box" is a wacky and ridiculous novel about angels, magic, and the end of the world.


4. "Join" by Steve Toutonghi

Release Date: April 19th

Join is a new technology that allows groups to people to fuse their minds together and experience the world through multiple bodies. However, a network named Rope appears who disregards the rules and begins killing off people within its own network. "Join" is an imaginative and unusual novel about identity and mortality.


5. "Love, Lies and Spies" by Cindy Anstey

Release Date: April 19th

Juliana Telford and Spencer Northam are more interested in their careers than finding romance. The two pretend to fall for each other and all goes well for Spencer until he gets caught up in Juliana's troublesome antics. "Love, Lies and Spies" is a historical romance that Jane Austen fans will love.
