The 5 Best Side Dishes at Thanksgiving Dinner
Start writing a post

If you're like me, you aren't that crazy about Thanksgiving turkey. You'll eat it, but it's the least exciting part of the meal to be honest. The side dishes are really where its at. I've had the debate with my friends and family on what the best side dishes at Thanksgiving dinner are. I've compiled the five best ones in my opinion here.

5) Cranberry Sauce

I know that a lot of people don't like cranberry sauce, but I personally really like the tartness of it when it's combined with other foods. I especially like to put it over turkey; they compliment eachother nicely.

4) Baked Mac and Cheese

My family only started doing this a couple of years ago, and honestly I'm kind of mad we didn't start earlier.

3) Green Bean Casserole

I don't care what anybody else says, this stuff is so good. I'll eat this literally anytime of the year.

2) Stuffing

You literally can't have Thanksgiving dinner without stuffing.

1) Mashed Potatoes

Similar to stuffing, you literally can't have Thanksgiving dinner without it.
