The MUSA (Underwater Museum of Art) is the worlds world's largest underwater museum, located off the southern shore of Isla Mujeres.

Jason deCaires Taylor designed this subterranean museum to act as an artificial reef to preserve aquatic life.

This underwater museum, which has over 470 sculptures and models, is one of the most well-known underwater museums globally, providing visitors with a beautiful experience.

Playa Norte

Without taking a boat, Playa Norte is one of the best places to go snorkelling on your own.

The water is spotless, and there are no currents on this lovely beach.

Visitors may snorkel and spot unique species only by swimming 200 feet into the sea.

Although the richness of marine life isn'tisn't comparable to a boat-based snorkelling tour, it's still a fun opportunity to learn about the undersea world and spend a beautiful day by the sea with your new marine life buddies.

Castilla'sCastilla's Garrafon

The beach is rocky and jagged; thus, water shoes are recommended.

El Farito (Lighthouse Reef)

El Faro (also known as Lighthouse Reef) is one of Isla Mujeres'Mujeres' most popular snorkelling locations.

We are located just 5 minutes off the shore of Isla Mujeres by boat; it's easy to get to and offers some beautiful chances for anyone eager to study life underwater.

This snorkelling area is unique since it features a little abandoned lighthouse as its centrepiece.

It'sIt's an excellent place for kids to practise snorkelling because the seas are shallow (approximately 10-15 feet).

The Reef of Manchones

There's a tiny reef that's perfect for novices to the south because it's not too deep and has a decent variety of fish. Garrafon de Castilla is another beach where you may snorkel. The Isla Mujeres Beaches

Beaches surround isla Mujeres. The main beaches on Isla are located on the north and west sides of the island. They are great for sunning, swimming, and snorkelling due to their calm, blue seas and beautiful white sand. The magnificent and rugged eastern shore is too tricky for swimming; the currents are influential on the Caribbean side. There are posted warnings, but accidents happen, so please be careful and continuously monitor your children.

Playa Norte (North Beach)

It is widely regarded as one of the best beaches in the Caribbean, and rightfully so. The silky white sand, palm palms and water so blue the sky look pale make it the perfect location to relax and unwind from the rigours of life. There is almost no stream, and the water only comes up to your waist if you wade out very far.

In front of the hotels on Playa Norte

Beach bars provide lounge chairs and umbrellas (for a fee) with waiter service on the sand. You may also hire water toys, kayaks and snorkelling gear.

Playa Posada

On the west side of town, it is usually less crowded than Playa Norte, but the water is not as clean.

Playa Paraiso

Playa Lancheros and Playa Indios are three of the most popular beaches in the area. These quiet beaches are on the west side of Isla Mujeres, near Hacienda Mundaca, facing Cancun. Open-air palapa restaurants, gift shops, bathrooms, chairs, and umbrellas are all available. Kayaks, canoes, and even beach toys are available for hire.

Garrafón Reef Park

The Park is open daily from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offers a variety of packages, including an all-inclusive package that includes a buffet lunch, open bar, snorkelling equipment, life jackets, kayaks, hammocks, an infinity pool, bathrooms, showers, and lockers, as well as admission to Punta Sur and the Sculpture Garden.

At the south end of the island, near Garrafón Reed Park. The entrance charge covers the use of lounge and beach chairs and beach umbrellas, bathrooms, and showers. Snorkelling equipment, lockers, and towels are offered for a fee. A modest restaurant/snack bar is also available.
