So you've decided to hang out with your boyfriend or girlfriend, and have decided to spend a day at home instead of going out. There are plenty of ways to have fun from home, and here are a few.
Cook Together
This one can be a bit intimidating at first if your only experience with cuisine comes from a take-out bag, but cooking doesn't necessarily having to mean creating a five-course meal right off the bat. You can start off with looking up easy recipes online and then making them at home to the best of your ability. It's a fun experience in which you and your partner can create something together. And if it doesn't really turn out the way you planned, well, that's what Uber Eats is for.
Write a Story Together
It doesn't have to be a masterpiece or a Stephen King-esque 1,000 page ordeal. It can even be as simple as a one page story, but you and your partner can have a good time making up characters and worlds. You can even make up a fun story about the two of you. If you'd like to make it a little interesting, have one person write one sentence, and then the other person writes another sentence, and so on.
Play a Board Game
It doesn't necessarily matter which board game, and it also doesn't have to be a board game. Video games can be a nice way for you and your partner to bond in an activity which requires cooperation (or in some cases) competition, even if you suck at video games (like I do). Board games are good in those cases where you may want to spend some time away from the screen.
Start a Show Together
Find something that interests you both, whether it be an anime, sci-fi show, or a comedy, and commit to watching it together. It's a good way to spend those cozy weekend nights when you're both feeling a little lazy. From experience, I would definitely recommend Breaking Bad to start with, but that's just me.
Work Out Together
Not only does it keep you healthy, but it's also a way for you and your partner to build each other up and encourage one another. There are also many ways you could do it. You can sign up for a gym membership together, or work out at home as well.
