Spring seemed to come early for a couple of weeks when it was in the 50s and 60s, but a sudden cold snap has sent temperatures back down to those typical of winter. With the first day of spring coming up this month, it isn't too soon to dream of activities that can be done in the warm weather. Here are 5 activities to look forward to this spring.
1. Visiting a botanical garden/conservatory/arboretum
Springtime means flowers will bloom and trees will turn green again! Experience the beauty of nature with a visit to a local botanical garden, conservatory, or arboretum.
2. Drinking iced coffee
Warmer temps= iced coffee, iced lattes, iced mochas, and more! Visit a local coffeehouse and get an iced coffee to enjoy outside or go to Starbucks and pick one up.
3. Doing homework or reading outside
Warm, sunny days in spring mean college students often wander outdoors to do homework. It can be nice to sit outside and study on a mild day. Reading a good book outside is great as well; make sure you take advantage of nice days outside this spring!
4. Walking around a city or town
When it's frigid out, no one reaches for a cold dessert. Rising temperatures in spring mean the return of ice cream! Visit your favorite ice cream shop or stock up on pints of ice cream.
