48 Thoughts You Had Re-Watching "High School Musical"

In case you've never confessed to the world that your attitude about hating "High School Musical" in middle school was fake, you probably know that this year is the 10-year anniversary of the release of "High School Musical." Ten years? That doesn't seem real.

In the wake of the fact that it has been 10 years, I'm sure you decided to re-watch the first one, or
maybe if you have that undying love for Zac Efron, all three, but regardless, I'm sure you watched the original, so here are 48 thoughts you probably had while watching it after 10 years (or a few months, I won't judge.)

1. Gabriella, I understand you, I wouldn't want to be at an awkward party either.

2. Oh! Troy's about to be forced to sing. If only you knew what was coming my friend.

3. OMG OMG the way he looked at Gabriella when she started singing.

4. YAS, rock that duet you two, already my OTP.

5. If only exchanging numbers with a guy was that easy. (Oh my gosh look at the phones.)

6. [Starts singing.] THAT'S THE WAY WE DO IT, TIME TO SHOW THE WORLD.

7. Sharpay is probably my spirit animal, if I had her confidence that is.

8. We've all had that teacher, Ms. Darbus is probably the one teacher in this movie that was realistic.

9. "I probably won't be signing up for anything any time soon." Why you lyin'?

10. [Starts singing again.] YOU GOTTA GETCHA HEAD IN THE GAME.

11. WHAT TEAM?!

12. Gabriella has a brain, and guts to correct a teacher on her first day.

13. Sharpay, the internet stalking is wrong, not that any of us do that, at all.

14. Honestly if detention was like that at my school, I'd probably have enjoyed that more than silently staring at the wall.

15. Coach and Darbus's feud is probably the best thing ever.

16. "Flinging balls for touchdowns." [Dies with laughter.]

17. WHAT TEAM?!

18. That was an elaborate way to avoid someone, and there's an auto shop in this school?

19. Yes Troy, that mop totally hides your face.

20. Ryan looks so mesmerized by that interpretive dance, TBH I'd probably be too.

21. Yeah sure Gabriella, make fun of Troy being scared as you jump behind the mop.

22. YAS, Ryan and Sharpay, check out the acting skills and dance moves.

23. Being nice to the quiet girl who has a talent for writing music, good job Troy.

24. My OTP is singing again [Melts.]

25. CALLBACK?! [SCREAMS.]

26. A cafeteria that spaced out and organized? [Laughs hysterically.]

27. Baker? Husband material for sure.

28. This song is kind of hypocritical when you think about it. Oh well. [Starts dancing around living room.]

29. You know, Sharpay might be a little overdramatic, but so is Chad.

30. I love when my OTP does something cute, like play basketball, or exist.

31. Chad, why do you always have that basketball?

32. "I can dream, can't I?" Sure you can, Chad.

33. "Overpaid athletes." Well, she's not wrong.

34. Troy, how do you not see the camera?

35. Y'all are breaking my OTP apart, STOP!

36. A school that's empty to sing in, in the middle of the day? [Laughs hysterically.]

37. My heart is breaking, my OTP aren't getting along.

38. Finally Chad, you've gotten some sense knocked into you.

39. A boy actually owning up to being a jerk and not just shooting her an apology text? Actually talking to her? Be still my heart.

40. What teacher doesn't consider other students' conflicts?

41. All the support for each other makes my heart happy. (Even though Sharpay just kind of stabbed Troy and Gabriella in the back.)

42. So many things going on all at once.

43. OMG IT'S BOP TO THE TOP.

44. All right friends, getting to the end of Ryan and Sharpay's song, let's get this show on the road.

45. Gabriella, you can do it, just keep your eyes on Troy.

46. YAS OTP, sing that duet.

47. WHAT TEAM?!

48. [Starts singing and dancing.] WE'RE ALL IN THIS TOGETHER.

Oh, "High School Musical," you'll always be a part of my childhood, and have a special place in my heart.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.

Challah vs. Easter Bread: A Delicious Dilemma

Is there really such a difference in Challah bread or Easter Bread?

Ever since I could remember, it was a treat to receive Easter Bread made by my grandmother. We would only have it once a year and the wait was excruciating. Now that my grandmother has gotten older, she has stopped baking a lot of her recipes that require a lot of hand usage--her traditional Italian baking means no machines. So for the past few years, I have missed enjoying my Easter Bread.
