Recruitment is just around the corner for Jacksonville State University. Like any other recruitment going on, it is an experience like no other. Rushing is the best decision you will ever make, but to do it all over again? No, thank you. Recruitment, in general, is one word: chaotic. Combine hundreds of nervous girls with 100 degree heat, and you are in for some chaos. The emotional breakdowns, laughs, new friends, and wardrobe malfunctions are unavoidable.

1. Here we go.

2. I am so ready for my first party. My hair looks fabulous.

3. Oh, no.. my hair is falling already. I HATE HUMIDITY.

4. Okay, time to line up. "Alphabetical Order." WAIT, what is my last name?

5. OMG, I am so nervous.

6. Just keep smiling. Just keep smiling.

7. Wait.. What is happening??

8. How are they singing and screaming??

9. Is this song over yet?

10. Okay, now we can walk in. Who is this walking toward me? Why is she touching my back?!?!

11. Am I sweating? Yes I am sweating... Can she tell??

12. Yes, she can definitely tell.

13. I have no clue what she just said. I need to move in closer, but I don't want to look creepy.

14. Okay, I look creepy.

15. Woah, she is so pretty.

16. They decorated this room really pretty too.

17. FOCUS. FOCUS.

18. What did you say? Yes, I love to volunteer.

19. Wait, she lived in Curtis too?? No way.

20. I think she is my new best friend.

21. Her dress is so cute.. I want that dress.

22. She lives two hours away from me??

23. OH. MY. LORD.

24. I kinda think I love her.

25. Wait, did she just say something?

26. Maybe I should just laugh.. I mean who does not like for someone to think they are funny, right?

27. No way it has already been 10 minutes.

28. I do not want to leave!

29. Must keep smiling. MUST. KEEP. SMILING.

30. "Doors Close" AHH I can finally feel my face again.

31. Where is my Rho Chi?

32. She knows everything, where is my next party?

33. I seriously love my Rho Chi, she is the best.

34. Okay, I think I am over this.

35. Wait, no. I can do this.

36. I wonder how my hair looks.

37. Why are these breaks so short?

38. Wait, what did my Rho Chi just say?

39. I have five parties LEFT?!?!

40. Okay, no time for breaks.

41. How much Lily and OTBT's can you see in one day?

42. I need a nap.

43. Or food.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
