For many, praying doesn't come easily. How awkward is it to talk to someone you can't see or hear? How silly does it feel to talk to someone, not knowing if they've heard us or not? Where do I even start in a conversation with God?

For others, praying might come a little easier. When you're kneeling in church, you routinely give thanks and ask for blessings. However, we all know that communication is one of the main foundations of a relationship. How do you really get to know someone you talk to once a week? That kind of relationship can only go so far.

So, for those who don't know where to start, or for those who struggle with keeping in constant contact with God, this one is for you. For when you're feeling blessed:

For when you need a little help:

6. Make me a better sister/friend/daughter/etc.

7. Give me patience.

8. Fill my heart with love.
