Your roommates. Not only the people you live with, but the people that know you best. Honestly, probably a little too well. They see every weird quirk, and odd mannerism you do and know all about the strange food you eat for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They know your bedroom is a total mess, or how you like to keep it freaky clean. And yet, they voluntarily live with you anyway.

Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots.
