The holidays are the best time of the year, but they are also the worst.
There is no better excitement than coming home and having the ability to finally eat real food. However, it is crucial to remember your limits, and here are four important reasons why.
1. Bikini season might be a ways away, but by training now, you will achieve your ultimate goal.
The holiday season obviously calls for top notch food, and I am not here to instruct you to not to eat it, but proportion your food. You will not attain that bikini bod by not eating, but instead by having correct portions. Be open to taking all of the foods on the table, but in small portions. That way, you can get a taste of everything and be one step closer to that dream bod at the same time.
2. After Christmas, the New Year is shortly after and for most, their goal is to lose weight or hit the gym more.
Therefore, why not get ahead of the game and limit yourself now so that you are not behind when the new year rings in? As for me, nothing makes me feel worse than indulging in too much that really was not worth it.
3. For those in college, it is enough to deal with the stress of school, so do not bring the stress of health along with it, too.
A healthy lifestyle will allow you to excel even more in school. By working out and eating right, students have a clear mind and their stress levels are lowered. Therefore, by remaining healthy over the holidays, you are then prepared for starting the year off on a healthy foot.
4. Sure, eating all those holiday treats sound great now, but it will not sound good once the season is over.
Everyone fears the scale, but by eating right and working out throughout the holidays, it will be difficult to fear it. Instead, it will allow you to be excited as you will notice that you completely mastered the holiday season by either losing weight or keeping a steady weight.
